Indian Camp Creek Park
Last Saturday we decided to head to Indian Camp Creek Park to do some trail walking and play in the creek. The trail was beautiful and made my walk a lot more fun. The kids enjoyed the playground and the creek, which also had a rope swing and lots of minnows/tiny fish to try and catch.
Staycation 2014
Last year we decided to do a couple vacation days around St Louis as our summer vacation that year. It was so much fun we decided to start doing it every year! This year we've only done one. We went to the Botanical Gardens, which the kids enjoy more than you would think, walking around and viewing all the gardens. And of course they'd stay in the Children's Garden all day I think!
After that we ate lunch at City Diner and then headed to the river front in St Charles. The kids rode their bikes and we lounged on a blanket under a tree by the river. We read books, watched movies, climbed on the Lewis and Clark statue and enjoyed the unseasonably cool weather of that July day. We also walked up to Main Street for ice cream.

Legoland!
We headed up to KC for a few days and decided to finally hit up Legoland. Adam's been obsessed with Legos for awhile now so we thought it was something he'd enjoy. But we all enjoyed it! It's a great place to visit. There's something for everyone and you could easily spend all day there. We all experienced our first 4D film. Ellie absolutely loved that part. I definitely recommend a visit if you're ever close to one.
Ellie loved the Wizard of Oz exhibit.
Duplo area for the smaller kids.
They had four different 15 minutes movies that were in 4D. Super neat!
Zoo Day
We finally made it to the zoo. We didn't see much but hit the Elephant area and the Monkey House, per Emma's request.
