Ellie thought it was a good idea to draw all over herself. She kept saying, "Pretty!" as I as wiping it off.

Vacation #1 - Ha Ha Tonka State Park

While at the Lake we also had to check out Ha Ha Tonka. We went there when we were kids and I remember that trip, as does Bradley who also went when he was small. Ellie refused to get down and walk until we got to the castle part and she wasn't very happy at first.

Vacation #1 - Big Surf

Had to take a trip to Big Surf while down at the Lake. The kids had a blast. Adam and Ellie were perfect ages for the kiddie pool and lazy river.

Vacation #1 - Lake of the Ozarks

Next stop was the condo we had rented at the Lake. It was great, and perfect for all of us. The kids had fun playing and we did lots of fun things...those posts to follow.

Vacation #1 - Columbia Again

When at my sister's we visited the Missouri Children's Museum. It's basically an old farmhouse that they turned into this museum. Each room of the house has a different theme...like the doctor's/vet, the store, a dressup room, a train room, an art room, etc. The kids had a blast and this is someplace we will definitely be visiting again. It'll be great for the winter when we need indoor activities to do and the kids can spend an entire morning there easily.

The next stop we all made was to spend a night at my sister's.

He's not really mad, he just likes making this face for pictures lately.

Family Visiting

A few weeks ago my brother flew in and we all went to the Lake of the Ozarks. Had a nice condo rented and enjoyed spending some family time together and seeing all the cousins together. It doesn't happen very often with us all spread apart and we enjoyed it emensely.
