Tired Girl

Ellie has been skipping her naps and if we're in the car anytime around 4pm she always falls asleep.  Yesterday after swimming she just couldn't wake up.  Took a quick 10 minute nap and then she was fine.

Suson Park

The weather was gorgeous today so we had to do something outside.  I had thought about the zoo but figured it would be packed so a friend and I decided to go to Suson Park.  We hadn't been there before yet and it combines a playground, lake, and farm animals in one.  It was a great outing with great friends.

Little Gym

We had Ellie in gymnastics last fall but she wasn't quite ready so we decided to try again this summer.  She did awesome this time around and really learned a lot.  Adam, of course, wanted to join in so we let him dothe short summer session.  He amazed me at how quickly he caught on and did everything the other kids were doing even though they had been in classes previous semesters and were supposed to be the advanced class.

Dinosaur Park

Another outing we did while in Montana was to check out the new Dinosaur park.

Museum of the Rockies

We spent part of two days at the Museum of the Rockies, a great place for kids and adults.  They had a dinosaur room, an exhibit on Da Vinci's works, a Native American room, and planetarium (that terrified the kids so we missed out on that), and a kids playroom. 

Around Bozeman

We were in Montana during the week of the Sweet Pea Festival.  They have one day where the kids can decorate the downtown sidewalks with chalk and on Saturday they had a 10K, 5K, and 1K race.  Adam did his first race with Bradley in the 1K.  He didn't really enjoy it but he finished.

Drive to Montana

I used to go to Montana every summer and Bradley and I made it once back in 2002.  We decided the kids were old enough to enjoy the trip and crazy as we are, we drove there.  We all enjoyed it though, the kids were surprisingly really good, and we made it.
