We headed back to Columbia this past weekend so Gina could watch the kids while we headed to my 10 year class reunion. We went back early in the day we could swim for awhile. The kids love this pool and always ask to go back.

Found some window crayons and thought I'd get them just for something different. It was entertaining but is a little hard to clean off, but worth the enjoyment for the kids.

VBS 2010

Adam attended his first Vacation Bible School this year at our church. He cried every day but one when I dropped him off but after 30 seconds he enjoyed it. It sure wore him out and made for a long day. Today was the last day and we got to go watch their final performance.

Remember Sixlets?

Target had a big thing of them so I treated the kids to their first Sixlet experience! I'm enjoying them too!

I've been bad this summer about doing crafts and things with the kids. We do lots of outings and playgroup activities but I need to do more fun things at home. So yesterday I stole my friend's idea and put the easel on the deck and let them paint away! We had the no-spill paint cups and new paint from Christmas that I hadn't opened yet. They ended up with some really neat pictures I'm tempted to frame for their rooms.

Adam's New Buddy

Adam brought this project home from Vacation Bible School this week. It's his buddy that's going to grow "hair".

Adam and his friend Leah were eating leaves one day so Adam picked one tonight that he said he was going to mail to Leah because she liked to eat them. Then he and Ellie started eating them! Not really, but they would take a bit and then spit it out. Then Adam asked if it would make them sick.

Ellie had a princess party. It was lots of fun, despite the hugh thunderstorm that came just before the guests arrived and ruined all my outside decorations!
