31 Weeks

Here I am at 31 1/2 weeks.  Things are going alright.  At my last checkup my blood pressure was elevated a little too high. But with no other symptoms I'm okay for now and go back in two weeks.  Still very swollen, tired and uncomfortable and I'm definitely ready to have this baby, but hope she waits a few more weeks until it's a little bit safer.  Funny thing today:  at the deli counter the lady asked when I was due so I told her 2/2.  She said "God Bless You!  Are you sure they have the date right?"  Then as I was checking out the cashier said I looked like I was ready to pop and when I told her I had two months left she asked if I was sure there weren't twins in there!  Just wait until they see what I look like in another month!

Finding a Christmas Tree

Just a funny picture of Ellie.  She loves spending time downstairs watching Bradley work and helping where she can.

This year we decided to try a Christmas tree farm and cut down our own tree.  We must have went to the wrong part of this farm because it had been recommended but we didn't see many trees that impressed us.  They were all pretty small and not very well-kept.  But the kids found one they liked for their room so that's what we ended up with.  They enjoyed the trek though and I think it will become tradition.

Our camera fell into a cup of lemonade a few months back so we're limited to my phone right now.  We didn't get the best Christmas pictures this year but you get the idea!

Great Wolf Lodge

In lieu of Christmas gifts for my siblings we chose to spend a night at Great Wolf Lodge over Thanksgiving weekend.  It was nice to have all four of us together and for the cousins to all hang out.  We spent Thanksgiving Day at my sister's where the kids enjoyed making s'mores and hotdogs.

Halloween 2011

Trunk or Treat at Ellie's preschool.

Pregnancy Post

This is me at about 23 weeks.  We've been so bad about taking pictures this time and these are the only ones we taken so far.  Sad, I know!  Today I'm at 30 1/2 weeks and very ready for the pregnancy to be over.  I hate rushing time, it goes by so fast now, but this pregnancy is tough for me.  I'm not sick really, but between my swelling, carpel tunnel in both of my hands, this cold I've had for a week, the mood swings that usually involve crying, exhaustion, and the new pain in my right knee, hip, and buttock...I'm done!
